Award Winning Sussex Cheese Makers

Alsop & Walker

Alsop & Walker are award-winning British cheesemakers based in the heart of East Sussex, dedicated to crafting a range of cheeses perfect for every cheeseboard.

We’re a small, dedicated team working from our Sussex creamery and at Borough Market in London, united by a shared passion for artisan cheese. We enjoy every stage of the process, from developing new recipes and making cheese to cutting, packing, and preparing orders. Early starts and teamwork are a way of life at Alsop & Walker, with everyone contributing to ensure our customers receive exceptional products and a high level of personal service.

We use locally sourced milk from five distinct cow breeds: Jersey, Ayrshire, Norwegian Red, Gloucester crossed with Swiss Brown, and Holstein. This unique blend of milk contributes depth of flavour and character to every cheese we make.

Combining traditional cheesemaking skills with modern methods, we create distinctive cheeses that are full of flavour and individuality. All our milk is pasteurised, and we use vegetarian rennet, ensuring our cheeses are suitable for vegetarians.
